BIP! NDR (NoDoiRefs) is a dataset jointly created by the University of Peloponnese and the Athens Research Center, focusing on collecting citation information of papers without assigned DOIs in computer science conferences and workshops. The dataset contains over 510,000 citation entries sourced from approximately 60,000 open-access computer science conference or workshop papers. The dataset construction process involves identifying and retrieving open-science papers without DOIs from the DBLP corpus, and directly extracting citation information from their full texts via text analysis. The primary application scenario of the BIP! NDR dataset is to improve the research evaluation process in computer science, addressing the gap that existing citation datasets fail to cover citations of papers without DOIs.
