Marine Invader Monitoring and Information Collaborative

The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) established the Marine Invader Monitoring and Information Collaborative (MIMIC) in 2006 to serve as an early detection network for marine invasive species across New England. Their goals are: (1) to find introduced non-native marine species before they spread and/or become established in the ecosystem, (2) to educate the general public about marine invasive species and how to reduce their spread, and (3) to provide data to all interested users.马萨诸塞州海岸带管理办公室（Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management，CZM）于2006年设立了海洋入侵物种监测与信息协作计划（Marine Invader Monitoring and Information Collaborative，MIMIC），旨在打造覆盖新英格兰地区的海洋入侵物种早期检测网络。该计划的目标包括：（1）在引入的非本土海洋物种发生扩散或在生态系统中定殖前完成侦测；（2）面向公众普及海洋入侵物种相关知识，并传授降低其扩散风险的方法；（3）向所有有需求的用户开放相关监测数据。
