Global Scanning Solutions (GSS) was hired by the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), Australia to provide 3D Laser Scanning Services for the Research Survey Vessel (RSV) Nuyina.The survey was conducted at Sembawang Shipyard while RSV Nuyina was berthed at North wall jetty from 15th February 2023 to 22nd February 2023 and from 21st March 2023 to 24th March 2023 when the vessel drydocked.Equipment and Specifications3D Faro Laser Scan S150+ Laser ScannerPoint cloud registered within the required tolerance. Propagation error due to scanning ranging error if at 2mm in every 10 meters setup position or about 16mm in the stretch of 80 meters work area. By using coordinated target, this error has been reduced to a maximum 6 mm.Leica TS13 Electronic Total Station Angular Accuracy 1", Distance Accuracy 1mm +/- 1.5 ppmScope of works3D Laser scanning of the vessel’s external surface includes the following area. 1. Hull 2. Aft Science deck 4 3. Hatches deck 6 4. Heli and Forecastle Deck 7 5. Air Chemistry Sensor Space – 06106 6. Compass Deck 11 7. Drop Keel Service Space – 05408 8. Technical Room Bridge - 09402 9. Other vessel external features that can be captured by 3D Laser Scanner 10. Deliverables: RAW Data, FLS Registered, fully registered point cloud in E57 format, 3D model of Nuyina Vessel in NND format, 3D model .dwg format, Scene2go viewer.

Faro S150+三维激光扫描仪(3D Laser Scanner):点云(Point cloud)配准需符合要求公差。由扫描测距误差引发的传播误差为:每10米安装位置处误差不超过2mm,或80米作业区域内最大误差约16mm;通过使用协调靶,该误差可降至最大6mm。 2. 徕卡TS13电子全站仪:测角精度1″,测距精度1mm ±1.5ppm。 ### 工作范围 本次三维激光扫描覆盖该船外表面的以下区域: 1. 船体 2. 后部科学甲板4 3. 6号舱口甲板 4. 直升机及首楼甲板7 5. 空气化学传感器舱室——06106 6. 罗经甲板11 7. 可卸龙骨服务舱室——05408 8. 驾驶室技术室——09402 9. 其余可通过三维激光扫描仪捕获的船舶外部特征 ### 交付成果 原始数据、FLS配准数据、E57格式全配准点云、NND格式的努伊纳号船舶三维模型、DWG格式三维模型,以及Scene2go浏览工具。
