To explore the effect of LIMA1 on gene transactivation induced by p53, we evaluated the changes in gene expression by RNA-seq in LIMA1 knockdown or control A549 cells. Overall design: Lung cacncer A549 cells were stably infected with lentivirus expressing shRNA-LIMA1 or negative control shRNA. These cells were treated with nutlin-3a which activates endogenous p53. The change of p53-induced gene transactivation was analyzed.
