From 2002 to 2006 the Tuscany Region has realized the complete coverage of the regional territory through the Regional Geological Map in scale 1:10.000. From this cartography, following a process of verification and geometrical and informative connection, conducted in the period 2009-2011 by the Center of GeoTechnologies (CGT) of the University of Siena, the realization of the Geological Continuum of the Tuscany Region was taken care of. The information levels of the Continuum were subsequently acquired within the Geological Database (November 2014), subject to amendments and additions incorporating the pre-existing ‘geomorphological database’ for the provinces of AR, MS, LU, PT and ‘Banca Dati Frane’ for the entire regional territory. Given the different times and methods of updating the information layers referring to the geological substrate compared to the layers referring to the geomorphological elements, when the Geological BD was updated in September 2018, it was decided to divide the latter into Geological BDs and Geomorphological BDs. The Geomorphological BD is therefore composed of the following 4 information layers: Surface deposits (DS), Linear forms (FL), Areal forms (FA), Point forms (FP), to which are added landslides (FR_StudiGeom) and landslide escarpment edges (OS_StudiGeom) deriving from geomorphological studies carried out mainly through photointerpretation for the provinces of FI-PO-GR-PI-SI-LI. In addition to the above information levels, the IFFI landslide level (Inventory of Italian landslide phenomena) is also published in the geomorphological database portal; this level represents the main and most up-to-date layer for the landslide phenomena of the portal and is described in a dedicated metadata sheet.Updates to the data of the Geomorphological Database of the Tuscany Region are not planned but linked to specific projects or maintenance activities, while the IFFI landslides are updated periodically.

2002年至2006年间,托斯卡纳大区(Tuscany Region)完成了全区域1:10000比例尺区域地质图的全域覆盖。依托该制图成果,锡耶纳大学地质技术中心(Center of GeoTechnologies, CGT)于2009—2011年间开展验证、几何关联与信息整合处理工作,据此完成了托斯卡纳大区地质连续体(Geological Continuum)的构建。该连续体的信息图层于2014年11月纳入地质数据库(Geological Database),并结合原有的AR、MS、LU、PT各省地貌数据库以及覆盖全区域的“滑坡数据库(Banca Dati Frane)”完成了修订与增补。 鉴于地质基底信息图层与地貌要素信息图层的更新时机与方式存在差异,在2018年9月更新地质数据库时,相关方决定将其拆分为地质数据库(Geological BD)与地貌数据库(Geomorphological BD)。其中,地貌数据库包含以下4类核心信息图层:地表堆积物(Surface deposits, DS)、线性地貌(Linear forms, FL)、面状地貌(Areal forms, FA)与点状地貌(Point forms, FP),此外还新增了主要通过影像解译获取的FI-PO-GR-PI-SI-LI各省地貌研究衍生的滑坡体(landslides, FR_StudiGeom)与滑坡陡崖边缘(landslide escarpment edges, OS_StudiGeom)。 除上述图层外,意大利滑坡现象编目(Inventory of Italian landslide phenomena, IFFI)图层也发布于地貌数据库门户;该图层是当前门户中针对滑坡现象的核心且最新的信息图层,相关详情详见专属元数据表。托斯卡纳大区地貌数据库暂无计划性更新,仅会关联特定项目或运维活动,而IFFI滑坡图层则会定期更新。
