Data for: A re-evaluation of Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) spawning distribution in the western Atlantic Ocean

This dataset was developed for the manuscript: "A re-evaluation of Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) spawning distribution in the western Atlantic Ocean" in Progress in Oceanography.

The first dataset contains information on the catch of Atlantic bluefin tuna on exploratory longline cruises in the western Atlantic and the associated reproductive analyses if they were done.

The second dataset contains information on Atlantic bluefin tuna larval catch on >35,000 plankton tows made in the western Atlantic since the 1960s.
