Bathymetric MNT of French Guiana (HOMONIM project)

The bathymetric MNT of French Guiana, with a resolution of 0.001° (~ 111 m), was realised as part of the HOMONIM project. It covers the entire Guyana coast and partly extends over Suriname to the west and Bresil to the east. Offshore, the NTM encompasses the continental shelf as well as part of the slope. The NTM is intended to be implemented in hydrodynamic models in order to produce as accurate forecasts as possible of the heights of water and sea states at the coast and thus to improve the relevance of the Vigilance Vagues-Submersion. This product is available with the lowest astronomical sea level (PBMA) or mean sea level (NM) as a vertical reference.法属圭亚那海域水深数字地形模型（bathymetric MNT）分辨率为0.001°（约111米），系HOMONIM项目的研究成果。该数据集覆盖整个圭亚那海岸，向西部分延伸至苏里南海域，向东部分延伸至巴西海域。在离岸区域，该水深数字地形模型覆盖大陆架及部分陆坡区域。该水深数字地形模型旨在应用于水动力模型，以尽可能精准地预测海岸区域的水位与海况，进而提升海浪与淹没警戒（Vigilance Vagues-Submersion）的预警相关性。该产品可选用最低天文海平面（PBMA）或平均海平面（NM）作为垂直基准面。
