Gut microbiotas play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, the research on the role of specific bacteria in AD pathology is limited. Here, we found that AD patients had significantly lower levels of Agathobacter, which were negatively correlated with cognitive impairment.
