Alpilles Landscape Directive — Visually Sensible Area — in Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur: Between the valleys of the Rhône and Durance, between the plains of Comtat Venaissin and the Crau, the Alpilles draw the horizon as an island on the sea, where in permanent confrontation, the limestone and dry rock emerges from the irrigated plains.
