Location-dependent density profiles of European Countries

This dataset includes the density files of most European Union countries and Turkey. It's in a text format in which the the country is divided into an mxn array of cells (each cell is almost a square with sides 100 m at the equator) and a density (an estimated number of people live in that cell adjusted by the UN). These files are obtained by converting Geotiff-formatted population files from worldpop.org. For conversion we used R programming environment and one of its libraries called Raster.
