Whole-genome sequencing of Bacillus subtilis Miyagi-4100, a rifampicin-resistant natto-fermenting strain

Bacillus subtilis Miyagi-4100 is a RifR mutant strain obtained from Bacillus subtilis Miyagi-4. The Miyagi-4100 strain showed increased production of cellulolytic and proteolytic enzymes and decreased production of levansucrase compared with the Miyagi-4 strain. To screen genetic mutations other than RifR, we conducted whole-genome sequencing of the Miyagi-4100 strain.
