An experience-sampling dataset of everyday moral experiences across 20 countries

Reusable data and study-material references from a preregistered, multisite experience-sampling study conducted in 20 countries through the Psychological Science Accelerator, replicating and extending Hofmann et al. (2014). The package contains 5,843 participant records, 108,670 survey invitations (75,712 completed reports), 30,752 unlinked event narratives, and 3,917 morality definitions, together with independent-validation records, data dictionaries, and R scripts for data preparation and descriptive results. A materials index identifies each reference document’s study phase, language, source, and version status. It distinguishes translated item-text references, implementation overrides, consent previews, and researcher guides; it does not claim complete historical deployment coverage. Files use descriptive names and a documented folder structure. The archive includes SHA-256 checksums and reproduction instructions.
