资源简介:
This dataset contains Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) observations acquired during the 2024–2025 diking episode along the Fentale-Dofen segment of the Ethiopian Rift. The data were collected to image ground deformation associated with magmatic intrusion and faulting processes in an active rift system. The dataset includes wrapped interferograms measuring line-of-sight (LOS) range change (in radians) derived from Sentinel-1 SAR imagery. These products were generated in support of the analysis of a catalog of relocated earthquakes and aimed at understanding crustal extension, volcanic hazard, and tectonic processes in the Ethiopian Rift. C-band (wavelength 5.6 cm) SAR data were acquired by the European Space Agency's Sentinel-1 satellite in Terrestrial Observation with Progressive Scan (TOPS) mode, from both an ascending orbit (track 87) and a descending orbit (track 79). The two datasets span: December 5, 2024 - March 23, 2025 for the ascending orbit (T087) and December 17, 2024 - February 27, 2025 for the descending orbit (T079). Wrapped interferograms were processed using the GAMMA Software. Multilooking (8 in the range direction, 2 in the azimuth direction) was applied to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio of the images. The topographic component to the interferometric phase was removed using a 12-meter-resolution digital elevation model (DEM) from the TanDEM-X mission (DLR e.g.V 2025; distributed by Airbus DS GeoGmbH). Images are geocoded to the WGS84 coordinate system with pixel size of ~12 m x 12 m (0.00011 degrees). No masking, filtering or atmospheric corrections were applied. Data are provided as geoTIFFs with pixel values ranging between -3.1416 and 3.1416 (i.e., -pi, +pi), expressing LOS range change in radians. A "Interferogram_info.txt" file provides detailed information on the SAR images, and temporal/perpendicular baselines for each interferogram.
