This dataset includes current versions of datasets used in the Circumpolar Arctic Vegetation Map (CAVM) project. Data files were created using Arc/Info version 8.0.1 on the Unix (Solaris 2.6) platform. Most of the Arc/Info grids have been documented using the Arc/Info DOCUMENT command. The metadata can be viewed by selecting the filename. The encapsulated postscript files that were used to create the final plots are included as well as preview images in several formats and resolutions. The maps are current as of 30 May 2001.
