Supplementary material for "Inverse bremsstrahlung absorption and ion stopping in super-Gaussian electron distributions: parametric limits and illustrative laser-heated plasma conditions": code, data and validation records
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the supplementary material for the article "Inverse bremsstrahlung absorption and ion stopping in super-Gaussian electron distributions: parametric limits and illustrative laser-heated plasma conditions" by Manal M. Al-Ali, Anas M. Ababneh and Ahmed Al-Khateeb. It includes the Python source code, the numerical data behind all figures and tables, and the validation records. The code computes the collisionless dielectric response, the inverse bremsstrahlung structural factors and the electronic stopping power for prescribed super-Gaussian electron distributions. Results cover an idealised dense DT reference and three illustrative laser-heated states, two argon gas-jet plasmas and one CH direct-drive corona. The argon states use an approximate charge-state sensitivity estimate that is included in the package. These are instantaneous model states, not self-consistent target histories. All verification checks passed; an independent implementation agrees with the production solver to within 10⁻⁷ at every benchmark point. Version 2 added the laser-heated cases. Version 3 contains the corrected validation code, charge-state diagnostics and documentation that accompany the revised manuscript; the stopping results are unchanged.
