Estimated capital for improving ports India FY 2020-2025, by area of infrastructure

Between the financial years 2020 to 2025, around 47 billion U.S. dollars were planned to be invested in port-related industrialization in India. This investment was according to the Sagarmala program of the Government of India. 14 coastal economic zones across India were planned along with 35 other potential clusters being identified. Additionally, 10 billion U.S. dollars were allocated to improve the operational efficiency of India's ports.
