Marine Biodiversity in Ilha Grande Bay Rio de Janeiro State - Southwest Brazil

This data set includes the results of the Marine Rapid Assessment Protocol sampling activities undertaken in summer 2003 and winter 2004 at forty three different localities along Ilha Grande Bay, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Macroalgae and animal (invertebrates and fish) samples were obtained, either from rocky as well from sand beaches including infralitoral by SCUBA diving.本数据集涵盖2003年夏季与2004年冬季，在巴西里约热内卢州格兰德岛湾沿岸43处不同采样点位开展的海洋快速评估规程（Marine Rapid Assessment Protocol）采样活动所得全部成果。本次采样通过水肺潜水（SCUBA diving）的方式，采集了岩滩与沙滩（包括潮下带生境）中的大型藻类以及动物（无脊椎动物与鱼类）样本。
