该数据集基于2005-2006年全国cbers及tm影像数据，对湖泊围垦区域进行人工解译，并结合1:10万地形图以及网络地图等信息进行参考，提取湖泊围垦边界。该数据是国家科技基础性工作专项“中国湖泊水质、水量和生物资源调（2006FY110600）”历时五年的项目研究成果，是目前国内最权威、最可靠的湖泊围垦边界数据。数据集包含了2个文件夹，分别包含了鄱阳湖流域湖泊丰水期及鄱阳湖流域湖泊枯水期围垦
