Abundances of Organic Compounds and Cyanide in Apollo 17 Lunar Samples

This dataset reports abundances of certain organic compounds (amino acids, aldehydes, ketones, amines, carboxylic acids) and cyanides from Apollo 17 samples made available through the Apollo Next Generation Sample Analysis (ANGSA) program. Samples included the 73001/73002 double drive tube, as well as surface samples 70180, 72320, and 76240. This data is supplemental material for a manuscript submitted to JGR-Planets. Lunar samples were extracted in hot water and the extract was split for coordinated analysis using a variety of chromatographic-mass spectrometric techniques. The included PDF contains sample and method details, as well as compound-class specific information on compounds that were searched for and not detected and measurement-specific observations to accompany the data tables. The dataset tables give compound-specific quantitations and standard deviations of measurements.
