Dataset for Multilingualism, Migration, and Domestic Work On the Sociolinguistic Situation of Filipina Domestic Migrant Workers in Spain

(English version below) Der folgende Datensatz enthält Transkriptionen aus dem Korpus zur Habilitationsschrift Spanien in Asien und Asien in Spanien. Eine migrationslinguistische Analyse der soziolinguistischen Situation philippinischer Haushaltsarbeiterinnen in Spanien. Die Habilitationsschrift ist am Romanischen Seminar der Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) entstanden und wurde durch eine DFG Eigene Stelle gefördert (Projektnummer 465412443). Sie wurde am 05.09.2023 an der RUB eingereicht und am 10.07.2024 verteidigt. Begutachtet wurde die Arbeit von Prof. Dr. Laura Morgenthaler Garcia (Erstgutachten), Prof. Dr. Yvette Bürki (Zweitgutachten), Prof. Dr. Roger Friedlein, Prof. Dr. Christiane Meierkord, Prof. Dr. Björn Rothstein und Prof. Dr. Judith Visser. Unter dem Titel Multilingualism, Migration, and Domestic Work. On the Sociolinguistic Situation of Filipina Domestic Migrant Workers in Spain wird die Monographie im Verlag De Gruyter/Brill als Open Access-Publikation veröffentlicht (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1515/9783111714288). Das Korpus der Arbeit wurde im Rahmen von DFG-geförderten Feldforschungsaufenthalten zwischen Juli 2021 und August 2023 in Spanien und auf den Philippinen erhoben, Teile des Korpus sind partizipativ erhoben worden. Weitere Informationen zum Zugang zum Feld, zu Kriterien für Teilnehmende, zur Erhebung und Triangulation unterschiedlicher Datentypen sind in der o.g. Monographie zugänglich. Dort sind auch die Erhebungsinstrumente sowie das Aufklärungs- und Einwilligungsschreiben für Teilnehmende dokumentiert. A Migration-Linguistic Analysis of the Sociolinguistic Situation of Filipina Domestic Workers in Spain. The habilitation was completed at the Department of Romance Studies at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) and funded through a DFG Eigene Stelle (Project No. 465412443). It was submitted to RUB on September 5, 2023, and defended on July 10, 2024. The habilitation was reviewed by Prof. Dr. Laura Morgenthaler Garcia (first reviewer), Prof. Dr. Yvette Bürki (second reviewer), Prof. Dr. Roger Friedlein, Prof. Dr. Christiane Meierkord, Prof. Dr. Björn Rothstein, and Prof. Dr. Judith Visser. The corpus was collected during funded field research stays between July 2021 and August 2023 in Spain and the Philippines; parts of the corpus were collected using participatory methods. The research instruments as well as the information and consent forms for participants are also documented in the monograph.
