This study focused on landscape and conservation genetics of 10 Euglossine bee species in southern Costa Rica. The first goal was to use RADseq to generate thousands of SNP markers for each species. The second goal was to use GIS to characterize the amount of land that was forested around and among six sampling locations. The third goal was to use the resulting population genetic and GIS datasets to assess the relationship between body size and dispersal, and determine if the relationship was influenced by deforestation. The fourth goal was to determine if genetic diversity varied with the amount of area that is forested around sites.
