Transcriptomes of capsule swapped-strains in Klebsiella (K1, K2, K3, K24)

We use the bacterium Klebsiella spp. as a model organism, we are interested in the bacterial capsule and the functional and evolutionnary consequences of capsule exchanges. Overall design: We have 4 different genetic backgrounds in which we have deleted the capsular locus (?cap: complete deletion mutant) and then separately inserted 4 different capsular loci (K1, K2, K3, and K24). We want to compare RNA expression upon capsule deletion or swap using the specific reference genome.
