Number of rooms in accommodation establishments

Statistical information on the number of places in accommodation establishments by type of accommodation, administrative territory, period (quarter) has been provided. “Statistical observation unit” means an accommodation establishment (local activity unit). The classifications used are: 1) Classification of economic activities (EERC Rev. 2); 2) Classification of administrative units and residential areas of the Republic of Lithuania (LR AVGVK 2018); 3) Classification of business certificates. The survey population shall comprise: (1) legal persons providing accommodation services, irrespective of the main economic activity according to the following groups of Chapter I of Rev. 2 of the ECEC: (55.1) the activities of hotels and similar temporary establishments, (55.2) the activities of holidaymakers and other short-term accommodation activities, (55.3) the activities of recreational vehicles, trailer parks and camping sites (hereafter referred to as “Section I of Rev. 2 of the ECEC, Group 55.1, 55.3, 543) natural persons working under the business certificate (ECC). Statistical information shall be produced at national, regional, county and municipal level.
