This map was compiled, lithographed and published at the Surveyor General's Office and shows public parks and recreation reserves, parishes, municipalities, buildings, wards and electoral districts. It was used as a reference map and has been annotated with references to the Surveyor General's Catalogue of maps and plans (COD 84-87) (gives references to the catalogue number of the maps, in particular Sydney S.1544, Cumberland C.690, roads R.784 and Port Jackson P.574 maps).
