Country211

Country211 is a dataset released by OpenAI intended to evaluate the geolocalization performance of visual representations. It is derived by filtering the YFCC100m dataset (Thomee et al., 2016) to select 211 countries (defined as entities with ISO-3166 country codes) that have at least 300 photographs with GPS coordinates. OpenAI constructed a balanced 211-class dataset by sampling 200 training photographs and 100 test photographs for each country.
