The Biosphere Data Pathfinder (Biosphere-Path) is one of several Data Pathfinders NASA designed to help guide users through the process of selecting and using application-specific datasets from NASA’s Earth science data collections. It has four components 1) Vegetation Characteristics and Processes Data, 2) Biodiversity-related Spectroscopy Data, 3) Human Impacts Data, and 4) Species Distribution Modeling. Together, they provide access to vegetation health (such as canopy height and evapotranspiration), spectroscopy, and species distribution modeling data, as well as data for monitoring human-induced changes that allow users to monitor biodiversity and forecast changes to ecological communities.
