Previous studies revealed that YgfB contributes to resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics in multi drug (MDR) resistant P. aeruginosa. By comparison of the transcriptome of the MDR strain ID40 and the ygfB deletion mutant ID40DygfB we wanted to investigate whether changes in the transcriptome cause YgfB mediated beta-lactam resistance.
