Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay Ferry Route Pump and Valve Control System Deployed 2022-06-23

The Pump and Valve Control System 02 was deployed on 2022-06-23 on Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay Ferry Route. This ferry route goes between Horseshoe Bay terminal in West Vancouver, BC and the Departure Bay terminal, Nanaimo BC. This device is a Pump and Valve Control System. The Pump and Valve Control System (PVCS) is developed by Ocean Networks Canada. It monitors the operation of a pump and a set of valves while providing feedback using various sensors. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.02型泵阀控制系统（Pump and Valve Control System 02）于2022年6月23日部署于马蹄湾-出发湾渡轮航线。该渡轮航线连接不列颠哥伦比亚省西温哥华的马蹄湾码头与不列颠哥伦比亚省纳奈莫的出发湾码头。本次部署的设备即为泵阀控制系统，泵阀控制系统（Pump and Valve Control System，简称PVCS）由加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）研发。该系统可监控单台泵与一组阀门的运行工况，并通过多类传感器采集数据以传回运行反馈。本次部署搭载于移动平台。本次部署产生的所有数据均已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外开放；所有数据均遵循既定规范开展质量管控，并生成配套衍生数据产品。
