This SEPP contains planning provisions:\r\n\r\n- for the assessment and development of mining, petroleum production and extractive material resource proposals in NSW\r\n- which aim to facilitate the development of extractive resources in proximity to the population of the Sydney Metropolitan Area by identifying land which contains extractive material of regional significance\r\n\r\nThis SEPP has consolidated and repealed the:\r\n\r\n- SEPP (Mining, Petroleum Production and Extractive Industries) 2007\r\n- Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 9 – Extractive Industries (No 2 – 1995)\r\n
本新南威尔士州环境规划政策（State Environmental Planning Policy，简称SEPP）包含以下规划条款：
- 用于开展新南威尔士州（New South Wales，简称NSW）内采矿、石油生产及采掘物料资源提案的评估与开发工作；
- 旨在通过划定包含具有区域重要性采掘物料的土地，推动悉尼都会区人口聚居地带周边的采掘资源开发。
本SEPP已整合并废止以下文件：
- 2007年《SEPP（采矿、石油生产与采掘工业）》
- 《悉尼区域环境规划第9号——采掘工业（1995年第2号）》
