GNCM_293 insect genomes are the genomic data retained after the longest transcripts were removed in this study. The genomic data of 293 insects were obtained from National Center for Biotechnology Information (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) , with protein-coding genes as the raw data samples (Table S1). These insects were classified into two categories according to their metamorphic type characteristics (Hemimetabolous and Holometabolous): 36 hemimetabolous insects in 8 orders and 257 holometabolous insects in 6 orders, to study the functions of key genes during metamorphic.Due to the large size of the training, validation, and testing GNCM datasets (41.6 GB), they can be obtained from the corresponding author, Youjie Zhao (bioala@swfu.edu.cn), upon reasonable request.
