Data for: To buzz or burst-pulse? The functional role of Heaviside's dolphin (Cephalorhynchus heavisidii) rapidly pulsed signals

These are the raw data used in the multivariable regression approach to identify relationships between Heaviside's dolphin acoustic and surface behaviour. Three surface behavioural states were examined (foraging, 'interacting with the kayak' and socialising) as these were observed significantly more often than any other behaviours. In addition, these data were used to calculate the individual-level production rates of dolphin buzzes during foraging and burst-pulses during socialising across group sizes.本数据集为采用多元回归分析方法，识别亥氏海豚（Heaviside's dolphin）声学行为与水面行为间关联关系所使用的原始数据。本研究共考察了三类水面行为状态：觅食、「与皮划艇互动」以及社交行为，原因在于上述三类行为的观测频次显著高于其余所有行为。此外，本数据集还被用于计算不同群体规模下，海豚在觅食阶段产生的嗡嗡声（buzzes）以及社交阶段产生的爆发脉冲声（burst-pulses）的个体水平产生速率。
