Replication Data for: Accuracy of diagnostic tests for respiratory syncytial virus infection within a paediatric hospital population in Kilifi County, Kenya

<p>This is a replication dataset for the paper "<i>Accuracy of diagnostic tests for respiratory syncytial virus infection within a paediatric hospital population in Kilifi County, Kenya</i>."</p> <p>The dataset is part of the long-term continuous respiratory virus surveillance among pneumonia admissions to Kilifi County Hospital (KCH) study. This datasets contains results of samples tested by Immunofluorescence Assay Test (IFAT), Multiplex PCR (MPX) and Fast Track Diagnostics (FTD) between August 2011 to December 2013. Aside from the samples, it also contains the patients’ sociodemographic characteristics (date of admission, sex, age, area of residence and presenting symptoms). The dataset is used to infer accuracy of diagnostic test that are used to test the presence of of respiratory syncytial virus infection within a paediatric hospital in Kilifi county.</p>
