Novel molecular and phenotypic insights into congenital lung malformations

The purpose of this study was to identify gene expression changes associated with congenital lung malformations. Lung tissue was collected from infants undergoing lobectomy for a congenital lung lesion. From each patient, a sample was obtained from the congenital lung lesion, and an adjacent section of unaffected lung (labeled healthy).
