Artifact Database, Long Branch Lake Survey 1974-1978

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District, archaeological collections were sent to the Veterans Curation Program’s (VCP) St. Louis laboratory in the fall of 2011. The St. Louis VCP laboratory is a USACE, St. Louis District’s Mandatory Center of Expertise for the Curation and Management of Archaeological Collections program, which is staffed through a contract with Statistical Research, Inc., a cultural resource management firm with offices throughout the western United States. The procedures employed by the St. Louis VCP to rehouse the archaeological material from the Long Branch Lake Survey 1974-1978 investigation are discussed in the Collection Management Report.
