A Quasi-Experimental Evaluation of Coaching to Mitigate the Impostor Phenomenon in Early-Career Software Engineers
收藏资源简介:
This repository accompanies the study “A Quasi-Experimental Evaluation of Coaching to Mitigate the Impostor Phenomenon in Early-Career Software Engineers”. The project investigates the impact of a coaching intervention on participants' psychological well-being and evaluation metrics (referred to as "IP scores"). Through a longitudinal design with multiple collection points (T0, T1, T2, T3), the study analyzed survey data measuring positive and negative affect (PANAS), satisfaction with life (SWLS), and general well-being (WHO-5). The statistical analyses, performed using the provided scripts (.ipynb files), included correlation analyses, group comparisons, and visualizations of the metrics' evolution over time. The materials included here provide the supporting documentation for the study: Analysis Graphics: Visualizations of the results, including box plots of scores (PANAS, SWLS, WHO-5, IP score) over time and by project, correlation plots (T0, T3), and the intervention timeline. Collection and Intervention Instruments: Description of the coaching project sessions and the well-being survey used for data collection. Source Code: Jupyter Notebooks (.ipynb files) used for data anonymization and for the complete statistical analysis. Dataset: Anonymized data used for the analysis (CSV) and sample (dummy) files of the raw data (XLSX). Consent form: Consent Form used
