Transcriptomic analysis of Escherichia coli under glutathione and colistin treatment
收藏资源简介:
This project aims to characterize the transcriptional responses of Escherichia coli to treatment with colistin in combination with glutathione. Colistin is a last-line antibiotic for the treatment of infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, and understanding bacterial responses to antimicrobial stress is important for both basic and applied research. In this study, RNA sequencing was used to generate genome-wide gene expression profiles of E. coli under defined treatment conditions, including exposure to colistin alone and in combination with glutathione. The resulting transcriptomic dataset captures global gene expression changes associated with colistin treatment and its combination with glutathione, providing a resource for analyzing cellular pathways and regulatory responses involved in colistin-associated stress. These data support further investigation of bacterial transcriptional responses under colistin-based combination conditions and enable comparative analyses across related experimental settings.
