We performed single nuclei transcriptomics frontal cortex samples of rhesus macaques 10- and 20-days post-SIV infection, compared to non-infected controls, to understand alterations of cell type specific neural transcriptomes during acute infection period. Overall design: Fresh frozen postmortem frontal cortex samples from non-infected, 10-day post-infection, and 20-day post-infection rhesus macaques were used to generate single nuclei suspensions and the nuclei were processed for the 10x Genomics 3' gene expression assay v3.1.
