Zooplankton data in 3 Lakes in La Mauricie National Park [2020]

Data were collected between 28 August and 15 September 2020. For each sample, data was recorded on the time, date, transect coordinates, time of day, distance from the shore (m), sampling place (surface or bottom) and the number of individuals for different zooplankton size-taxa. The samples were collected using a Schindler-Patalas box. The aim of the data was to assess zooplankton abundance as a function of a horizontal gradient in distance from the bank during the day and at night.
