资源简介:
This data has been brought together in the context of the:
“Uniting the Separated: A Multifocal Contextualization of the Saqqara Execration Figurines” project, coordinated by Dennis Braekmans and Daniel Soliman, MCS stimulation grant (National Museum of Antiquities and Leiden University), 2022-2023.
The .zun interactive images have been created with the Multispectral Microdome, i.e. Portable Light Dome system from the KU Leuven, Belgium; that is research equipment operated by KU Leuven Core Facility VIEW
These recordings can be consulted with the stand alone and browser interfaces published via https://portablelightdome.wordpress.com/software/.
The .tif images have been composed, based on full quality screenshots via the stand alone PLDviewer interface, by using Photoshop (v23).
Operator for the Multispectral Microdome and composition of tif images: Hendrik Hameeuw (KU Leuven Core Facility VIEW)
The imaged objects are 11 unfired clay figurines originating from Saqqara, inventoried under accession numbers F 1941/8.2 to F 1941/8.12, and kept at the National Museum of Antiquities (Leiden, The Netherlands). They date to the late Middle Kingdom (c. 1850-1700 BC) and were identified as execration figurines.
