This dataset provides a structured full-sample coding table of 46 first-run Hong Kong films released in Hong Kong in 2024. It includes film-level variables related to production category, co-production status, language, opening date, release duration, box-office performance, admissions, release-window labels, box-office tiers, release-cycle types, and selected technical markers. The core data are primarily derived from the publicly released Hong Kong Film Industry Data 2024, while selected analytical variables are researcher-derived or calculated according to explicit operational rules. The dataset can be used for research on the structure of the Hong Kong film market, the ecological differentiation between local productions and co-productions, release-window strategies, language attributes, box-office performance, and the annual configuration of the Hong Kong film industry.
