A Bilingual Dispute-to-Statute Mapping Corpus for Turkish Construction Law: Doctrinal and Technical Disputes Linked to Applicable Articles of Turkish Codes

This dataset provides a structured mapping between recurring construction-industry legal disputes in Türkiye and the specific statutory articles that govern them. It comprises 2,388 dispute–article pairs across 258 conflict topics, organized into two sub-corpora: a Law sheet (402 rows, 60 topics) covering doctrinal contract-law disputes such as eser sözleşmesi and arsa payı karşılığı inşaat sözleşmesi, and a Technical sheet (1,986 rows, 198 topics) covering operational, regulatory, environmental, and labor-related construction litigation. Each row links a conflict topic to an applicable article of Turkish codes, including the Code of Obligations (6098), Civil Code (4721), Code of Civil Procedure (6100), Zoning Law (3194), and Environmental Law (2872), together with a concise doctrinal summary in English or Turkish. The corpus is intended for legal NLP, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over Yargıtay decisions, dispute classification, and educational use in construction law and legal informatics.
