Research data for "The Yawning Gap: Waiting for Cariology to Germinate Whilst Periodontology is Fruiting"

Search of dental school websites in 2008 and 2021 comparing between three disciplines of cariology, periodontology, and conservative/restorative/operative dentistry:<br>2008 findings: (i) existence of department/division/discipline in these disciplines, and (ii) number of full-time faculty staff teaching these disciplines. <br><br>2021 findings: (i) existence of department/division/discipline in these disciplines, and (ii) number of schools that had self-identified as undertaking research in these disciplines.
