Household Support Grant Phase 1 Ward Data

<p style="font-family: sans-serif;">The Household Support Grant (HSG) is a fund provided by the Department for Work and Pensions and administered by local authorities. The purpose of the fund is to provide targeted support to households at risk of economic crisis. Support is offered to provide funds for food, contribution towards energy and water bills and essential items linked to energy and water such as white goods.</p><p style="font-family: sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;">The scheme ran in this phase from 1st October 2021 until 31st March 2022.</span><br/></p><p style="font-family: sans-serif;">The data within this dataset shows how the fund was distributed to city residents, based upon the spend criteria provided by the DWP at a ward level.
