资源简介:
Sediment, charcoal, feature fill, and fire-cracked rock samples from sites 45SN28 and 45SN303 in Snohomish County, northwestern Washington, were submitted for pollen, macrofloral, and organic residue analyses to provide subsistence information. These samples were also submitted for charcoal identification and AMS radiocarbon dating to establish chronology. Organic residues were recovered for identification using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Pollen, macrofloral, and FTIR analyses will be used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the occupants of this site. Little to no site information was provided by the client in an effort to minimize bias in the analyses.
