There has been scant information regarding proteins involved in the processing of the blood-meal in ticks. The present study aimed to recognize those proteins mediated in anticoagulation of blood-meal and intracellular digestion in midguts of Haemaphysalis flava. Contents of midgut were carefully collected, and extracted for proteins, and were subject to LC/MS-MS analysis.
