The influence of independent local parties on spending: Evidence from Dutch municipalities

This data was prepared to see electoral competition in Dutch municipalities. In the dataset, municipalities are matched where there is a mayority of independent local parties vs. to those where there is a mayority of mainstream parties. The variables on which these muncipalities were matched are also included.本数据集旨在探究荷兰市镇的选举竞争态势。数据集将存在多数独立地方政党的市镇，与存在多数主流政党的市镇进行配对，并收录了用于实现此类配对的相关变量。
