A Dataset of Structural Engineering Terminology for Biolexicographic and AI-Assisted Knowledge Representation

BioLex-SE is a pilot dataset of English-language structural engineering terminology designed for biolexicographic and AI-assisted knowledge representation. The dataset contains curated term records, source metadata, semantic categories, AI-generated comparative definitions, prompt logs, a codebook, a README file, licensing information and a manifest. It is intended to support research on technical terminology, semantic variation, domain-specific language, knowledge representation, digital twins, structural health monitoring and large language model evaluation in engineering-related discourse. The dataset is not engineering guidance and should not be used for structural design, safety assessment or code compliance decisions.
