Visualizing histone modifications in living cells: spatiotemporal dynamics of H3 phosphorylation during interphase

Fibroblasts were loaded with FabAuB-488 (w=0; green) and Fab311-555 (w=1; magenta). 5 z-stack images at 0.75 micro-m were captured every 3 min using an inverted microscope (Ti-E; Nikon) with a PlanApo VC 100× (NA = 1.4) oil-immersion objective lens.
