Training Students in Systematic Reviews for Software Testing Research

A systematic literature review, commonly known as a systematic review, is a method used to identify, evaluate, and interpret all existing research related to a specific research question, topic, or area of interest.Software testing research is essential because it drives the improvement and evolution of practices, tools, and methodologies used to ensure software quality, reliability, and security. Maintaining a good path in Software Engineering and Software Quality is important. It has an even bigger influence in being up to speed with today's trends in testing software systems designed for large-scale use, and permanently discovering new methods. An important highlight on this matter can be observed in studies and theory of Software Engineering and Software testing. Understanding testing research equips students for roles that require expertise in developing and implementing advanced testing methodologies, making them valuable assets in the industry and research.This article aims to study the effectiveness of conducting Software Testing Research using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method to overview testing activities among undergraduate ``Computer Science'' students.
