Molecular Characterization by Multilocus Sequence Typing and Diversity Analysis of Rickettsia asembonensis in Peru

Dataset of five Rickettsia asembonensis DNA Specimens Used for Multilocus Sequence Typing Characterization. We selected five ectoparasite DNA samples that were Rick17b and Rasemb positive from two sites: Iquitos and Puerto Maldonado, Peru, from cats and dogs, and two ectoparasite type: Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis, These five specimens were obtained from two previous studies: Kocher C, Morrison AC, Leguia M, Loyola S, et al.
